What is coaching?
The major difference between coaching and therapy is that therapy is focused on mental health, emotional healing, and symptom relief, while coaching focuses on working with people to identify and reach specific goals. Often, coaching is more present focused, dealing with things in the here and now, and involves comming up with specific action plans and figuring out how to execute specific strategies to acualize these plans. Coaching is general shorter term than therapy, and not all issues are appropriate for coaching. I offer coaching in the following areas:
